Cuisinart Power Advantage 5-speed Hand Mixer

#Cuisinart Power Advantage 5-speed Hand Mixer# Best Cheap Discount Sales Reviews

Cuisinart Power Advantage 5-speed Hand Mixer

I don't need a full sized stand mixer, and after 30+ years, my old Hamilton Beach 2-speed finally broke--well the housing broke; I'm sure the motor would have gone on and on. So I checked mixer reviews all over the internet and it was between Kitchenaid and Cuisinart. Since, according to the reviews, both are great products, I went for the one on Amazon with the best price. I've used it a couple of times now and it's just great. If you don't need a totally high tech mixer and want something to stir up brownie batter, mash potatoes, and whip cream, look no further.

Product Features
  • Extra-long beaters, spatula. Instruction/recipe book
  • Powerful 220 watt motor. Powerful 220 watt motor
  • Exclusive rotating swivel cord. Chrome-plated Cuisinart logo band
  • 120 Volts, 1.8 amps
  • Dimensions: 8.07"x3.56"x5.91" (LxWxH)

Product Overview
This 5-Speed Hand Mixer contains easy-to-use speed control and beater eject lever. It also features a sSwivel cord for right-handed or left-handed use.

Customer Review
satisfied - D. Koop - Michigan
very good quality, some negatives are: a little heavy, lowest speed is still pretty high, so food splatters if not careful, not sure I like swivel cord, seems to always end up in my way.

Customer Review
Beautiful mixer - Sherry Cline - KY
Have not used this mixer yet, but it is a beauty. It has a good heavy feel to it and a nice retro look. I bought this for my daughter and will let you know how it works soon!

Customer Review
High quality, limited usage - D. Lawrence - San Antonio, TX
Though I enjoy my Cuisinart food processor very much, and was a little too gung-ho when I first bought it as I purchased all the different blades and attachments, after several months of usage I can say that you probably don't need this 1mm blade. I use it to slice carrot, radishes, cucumbers, and peppers for salads but it does slice extremely thin and the 2mm is not much different. It is high quality and much overpriced and ultimately I will struggle over the life of the unit to get my money out of this one as there just are not that many times when you want razor thin food that doesn't turn to mush. The 2mm blade helps to keep the food more solid and provides more crunch. If you are a caterer and need to stretch food by cutting it ultra thin then this one's for you but average cooks can use the 2mm and be just fine. If anything I would recommend the larger slicing blades as they can be used for meats and stir-frys, while this one merely just sits on the shelf.

Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick Bakeware 9-Inch Round Cake Pan

#Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick Bakeware 9-Inch Round Cake Pan# Best Cheap Discount Sales Reviews

Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick Bakeware 9-Inch Round Cake Pan

These pans are very good quality, heavy duty baking pans. I bought three of these and just used them this past week for carrot cake. They performed very well and I am very pleased with them. My personal experience with Cuisinart has been good and these pans are no exception. They are not quite 2.2" as described in the details, but the height is more than adequate. And for the price, it really cannot be beat.

Product Features
  • 9-inch round cake pan
  • Heavy-gauge aluminized steel construction for even heat distribution
  • Durable nonstick coating on interior and exterior
  • Thick rolled edges prevent warping even at high temperatures
  • Dishwasher-safe; limited lifetime warranty

Product Overview
From the premier name in food processors, comes a superior line of bakeware. Constructed out of heavy gauge materials, these are pans that won't warp and will facilitate even browning. Nonstick inside and out makes your life easy when it comes to removing food from the pan for serving, and during cleaning. You can even put these pieces in the dishwasher if you like! Backed by a lifetime warranty, you're sure to enjoy many years of trouble free, exemplary performance with Cuisinart bakeware.

Customer Review
Looks good. - Joseph R. Rempfer Crooke - DeKalb, Illinois USA
I bought it for a Halloween costume piece but I am sure it would make tasty cakes.

Customer Review
A great, solid cake pan. - R. Backus - Zurich, Switzerland
This is a great product - heavy and thick so it distributes heat evenly, and incredibly non-stick. I sometimes don't even butter it, and I've never had a cake stick to it. I would recommend it to everyone.

Customer Review
Excellent and Durable Pan - C. Jin - Glen Cove, NY
I am impressed by the quality of this cake pan. The metal is smooth, durable, and heavy, and my cakes have been baking evenly. (The first time I used them, I didn't use enough butter/flour and my cake got stuck.) I may be a novice baker, but these pans feel like they belong in a professional kitchen.

Cuisinart DCC-450BK 4-Cup Coffeemaker with Stainless-Steel Carafe, Black

#Cuisinart DCC-450BK 4-Cup Coffeemaker with Stainless-Steel Carafe, Black# Best Cheap Discount Sales Reviews

Cuisinart DCC-450BK 4-Cup Coffeemaker with Stainless-Steel Carafe, Black

The DCC-450 is a reliable and consistent basic coffeemaker that works well as long as you use it just right. It is similar to the coffeemakers one finds in hotel rooms and is solidly built at least as far as coffeemakers go. It makes a little more than four six ounce "cups" at a time and completes the brewing process in a few minutes. The coffee is hot and stays hot in the carafe, but cools fast once the internal auto shutoff timer triggers. Add the reusable Cuisinart GTF-4 Gold Tone Filter for Cuisinart 4-cup Coffeemakers for a decent everyday set-up. A better carafe design and a more generous delay before the heating unit shut off would have bumped my review up to five stars.

Pros:
+ Fast brewing.
+ Stainless steel carafe that can take a beating without pause.
+ Heating unit auto-shutoff. No worries about scalded pots.

Cons:
+ Heating unit auto-shutoff. Yeah, it's a con too--the shutoff comes too quickly.
+ Awkward carafe design: the plastic rim doesn't easily allow complete emptying of the pot and the spout requires slow pouring or else the coffee drips all over.
+ Short power cord length.
+ Doesn't include reusable filter (although the Cuisinart GTF-4 Gold Tone Filter for Cuisinart 4-cup Coffeemakers works great).

Product Features
  • Compact 4-cup coffeemaker with 30-minute automatic shut-off function
  • Stainless-steel carafe provides generous handle, knuckle guard, and dripless pour spout
  • Brew-pause function allows for a quick pour; convenient "on" indicator light
  • Modern design in black and stainless steel; instruction manual included
  • Measures 7-1/2 by 5 by 10-1/2 inches; 3-year limited warranty

Product Overview
4c Coffee Maker- Black

Customer Review
Broke after a year of minimal use - KittyKatKatie - Washington, DC
Not only did it never seem to make a good cup of coffee (especially when you use a gold filter rather than paper ones), but it broke after a year of rather minimal use. It just won't turn on no matter how much I mess with it.

The coffee I made in it I never enjoyed drinking, but since it was for my office, I needed to choke it down anyway in my desperate need of caffeine. The coffee always tasted off in a way I can't describe accurately. The size is perfect for a cubicle, but it's just not worth it for the taste and value.

Customer Review
Simple and robust coffee maker - Matthew Weis - Stevensville, Michigan United States
After seeing one of these in use for a number of years (so they certainly last), I decided to buy my own and was not disappointed. The coffee maker itself is easy to clean as well as the pot (metal so don't worry about breaking it). It's certainly not huge but makes enough coffee for me on one go. I don't think I have any real complaints about this coffee maker, as the coffee always tastes great. Of course you could certainly have more features, but you should realize when you're buying this one that it's all about simplicity.

Customer Review
perfect for solo coffee drinker - A. Piasecki - pasadena, ca
I had previously owned this coffee maker in college, but gave it away when I moved across country. I bought it again because it works so great. Super simple, and makes a great cup of coffee every time. Just enough for a mug in the morning and to fill the travel mug to bring to work. Be careful when using with the gold filter because it will need to be cleaned occasionally after a build up of fine particles, which can clog the drip area. But this part is removable and is simple to clean. Keeps coffee warm for an adequate amount of time, and just works exactly as expected every morning, which is what you want in a coffee maker.

Customer Review
Poor quality - Maria Losquadro - New York United States
I am very disappointed in this coffeemaker. Had one that i bought 6 years ago and loved it. When it broke i ordered another one. The quality now is very poor. The plastic and stainless steel is very thin. The top of the carafe did not seal well. So disappointed i returned it. Would not recommend this product.

Cuisinart DCO-24 Die Cast Can Opener

#Cuisinart DCO-24 Die Cast Can Opener# Best Cheap Discount Sales Reviews

Cuisinart DCO-24 Die Cast Can Opener

This is a great electric can opener for someone who, like me, does not like electric can openers based on past experieces. In fact I preferred a really good manual opener until I bought this one.

I bought this Cuisinart DCO-24 Cast Metal unit in July, 2006 because I was experiencing problems with my hand. This little kitchen tool was a pleasant surprise for me. It opened cans of all shapes and sizes with ease and efficiency.

The only small problem I have with it is that it is not always easy to align every can perfectly on the first try - most yes, but not all. I feel like I am lining the blade up by dead reckoning 'feel' because I do not see any easy alignment indicator I can use consistently. You can easily see the gear as well as the blade, but it just does not seem intuitive. An improvement there would be nice but it is not a big problem. Ususally the cans just pop into place correctly and everything just works without a problem.

The one real problem which brought me back here today, March 31, 2010, less than four years after I bought it, is a broken part. Cuisinart is replacing it out of warranty as a courtesy.

A big thanks to another Amazon reviewer, B. K. Harwell, for his heads-up. See his review, Blade/magnet piece broke-replaced free, March 11, 2009.

I called the phone number he provided, 1-800-726-0190. A nice human answered almost immediately and offered the replacement without even asking how old it was. Cuisinart made this into a simple solution to what was a potentially negative experience. The lady I spoke to also said this model is still in production contrary to what some others have written.

The part which broke is a small corner of the black handle and cutter blade assembly which apparently hold a small spring steel leaf which presses down against the can's lid. This has been reported by others and may be a design weakness. I was doing research to buy a new one when I discovered this simple free fix.

I still love this can opener.

Product Features
  • One-touch system (no need to hold down lever) for opening any size can
  • Heavy, cast-metal-and-plastic construction: won't tip or slide
  • Cutting arm detaches for quick cleanup; unit wipes clean
  • Compact (4-by-4-3/4-inch footprint), with cord storage to reduce clutter
  • 3-year warranty against defects

Product Overview
Stylish electric chrome can opener handles any size can with its power-pierce blade, Cuisinart engineered motor and heavy duty body. Lid holder removes for easy cleaning. Model DCO-24. 3-year limited warranty.

Customer Review
DISCONTINUED!!!! - Working mom - USA
I liked the can opener except for the cheap plastic cutting assembly. It broke and I cannot find a replacement part because they discontinued the can-opener.

Customer Review
Still works perfectly after 4 years - Golog - USA
For many years I had an old US-made Sunbeam can opener that worked quite reliably. However, when it finally died, I discovered that all can opener production had been moved to China, like almost everything else. Before I bought the Cuisinart, I owned a succession of cheap Chinese can openers that all failed shortly after their one-year warranties expired. The last two failures were blade failures -- the blade became so dull that it would not pierce cans. The replacement cost of the blade was about the same as a new cheap can opener.

After reading the Amazon reviews, I decided to try the Cuisinart DCO-24. I bought one in August 2005. It has always worked perfectly, and after four years has been less expensive that the sum of the cheap can openers I would have had to purchase, even without factoring in down time and time wasted shopping for can openers. If it ever fails, I'll buy another just like it.

Cuisinart Chef's Classic Enameled Cast Iron 9-1/4-Inch Square Grill Pan, Provencal Blue

#Cuisinart Chef's Classic Enameled Cast Iron 9-1/4-Inch Square Grill Pan, Provencal Blue# Best Cheap Discount Sales Reviews

Cuisinart Chef's Classic Enameled Cast Iron 9-1/4-Inch Square Grill Pan, Provencal Blue

I've been looking for a griddle/grill pan, but I have a ceramic top stove, so regular cast iron is a no-no. But after lots of searching, I found that enamel coated cast iron is okay to use, and had high remarks. I honed down my search, and found this Cuisenart grill pan to have all the attributes of the higher priced ones, and Amazon had the best price.....so I ordered it.
I got it 2 weeks ago, and it's quickly become my favorite pan. It grills burgers, fish & chicken beautifully. Even has a pour spout for excess grease (which drains away from the food, a big plus in the health department!).

With all the rain we've had, I haven't missed the outside grill at all. And it makes the best panini's, so you won't need another expensive thingy in your kitchen. Get your sandwich loaded up, put it onto this pan, and weigh it down with something (I use a bacon press, but you could use another heavy bottomed pan instead). Flip it once, and you'll end up with a wonderful crusty sandwich....evenly melted & amazing!

Tip: Preheat before using, but don't use this pan "dry". I pre-spray with Pam before heating, and spread butter or oil on the food I'm cooking.

Product Features
  • Porcelain enameled exterior both durable finish land rich in colors complements any kitchen décor. Cast iron contraction retains heat well. The porcelain enameled interior is perfect for cooking: surfaces do not impact flavors or absorb odors.
  • Wide cast iron handles provide a comfortable and secure grip. Easy transport for serving. Oven safe knob for a durable grip and endless cooking options. Stovetop, oven and broiler safe. Induction stovetop compatible.
  • Cast Iron construction provides superior heat retention and even heat distribution.
  • Strong, durable finish in rich colors complements any kitchen décor. Perfect for cooking, serving and entertaining.
  • Convenient maintenance and easy cleanup and dishwasher safe

Product Overview

An with the appealing colors and elegant enameled finish, you won't have to think twice about bringing them right to the table to serve! Any way you cook, equipping your kitchen with Cuisinart cast iron cookware allows for endless menu options. This Cuisinart cookware is timeless.

Good Size for One Person - A. M. Picardo - Chatham, NJ
This grill pan is a good size if you're cooking for one or two people. So far I have used it 4 times and each time I've had problems with the food sticking to the pan so I can't say that I would recommend it.

"Grilling" the chicken was easy and clean up was a breeze! I am happy I bought this instead of a 0+ pan. Simple and easy to use.

Cuisinart PrepBoard/Counter Protector, Round

#Cuisinart PrepBoard/Counter Protector, Round# Best Cheap Discount Sales Reviews

Cuisinart PrepBoard/Counter Protector, Round

I really like these cutting boards.

There not beautiful, there not for serving, but they do not let liquid spill off the sides, cause they go up around the edges.

I also like that there so light weight, but strong. I can cut up my veggies, meat,, and carry it too the pot on my stove and everything slides right in.

When I'm cutting up anything you do not have that "Well" around it that leaves you with a smaller surface, and all the juices fall into.
When you try and catch the juices, they run off in a mess, not so with this board.

Now for the negative about this board, but I do not find this to be a big deal though.
Once you put a cut into the board it is not anti-bacteria free..
I put my Board into the lower part of my dishwasher and it comes out fine.

If your looking for a beautiful board this is not it.
If your looking for a light weight , funtional cutting board, I think this is it.
I do not use my heavy expensive wood boards anymore.

I bought these last year 06, on Amazon for .99...Why they went up in price this much is beyond me, 07.
These boards are not long lasting like wood boards or other heavy plactic boards, so I'm waiting for the price to come down..I now own 3 of these.

Btw I own one sq. and two rectangle. The rectangle is my favorite and the only ones I would buy again.

Product Features
  • Made of durable polypropylene
  • Non-porous surface does not absorb odors or bacteria
  • Non abrasive surface will not dull knives
  • Raised edges catch liquids
  • Dishwasher safe

Product Overview

Customer Review
Dimensions of a great prep board..... - Boston Bean - Dorchester, MA United States
I agree with all the other high star ratings for this prep board (set)....I love it/them. So, I'm writing this review for those who are interested in the dimensions of each of these boards, that are available. They were not given in the product descriptions, so I took a chance and ordered the set. The round board is 12 inches in diameter. The square board is 11" x 11". And the rectangular board is 9 1/2" x 15". The boards have a textured surface, and have 4 round 1/2 inch convex circles on the underside of the board, to raise the board slightly off of the counter top. I have a Progressive International Silicone red 12 Inch Diameter Microwave Mat, that I keep on my counter top, that will prevent any of these boards from slipping around.

Customer Review
favorite item in kitchen - Patricia Nichols - Superior, MT USA
I had these as a "gift" and stuck them in the cupboard when I first got them. But after getting used to doing prepwork on them, I cannot keep them in the cupboard! They are always in use and one of the only kitchen things I couldn't do without. The clean up nice in the dishwasher, they are lightweight, they don't mar much with all the cutting, and the curved edges keep me from having overflow messes. I can't recommend them enough! I only came to this item on Amazon...to buy some more!

Customer Review
Great Food Preparation Tool - anti nitro pdf professional - Sacramento, CA
I wanted something durable that also had curved edges so when I cut food that has liquids (meats, tomatoes, etc) the liquid would not run off/over. This is a handy prep board and also fits in the cupboard on top of my dishes. I use it to thaw frozen foods too! The only drawback is it does slide on the counter a bit but its attributes outweigh that! Recommended!

#Cuisinart DGB-600BC Grind and Brew, Brushed Chrome# Best Cheap Discount Sales Reviews

Cuisinart DGB-600BC Grind and Brew, Brushed Chrome

My cheap-'ol coffee pot that I've been using for the last year and a half was recalled- so I took it back. Perfect excuse for a brand new- top of the line coffee pot. My last one was a "General Electric®-branded 12-cup digital coffee makers"- so the quality and taste is a huge improvement. This thing is a beast, and so far I love it! I really wanted the Cuisinart DTC-975BKN, but there was NO way I was going to wait close to a week for process/shipping, or spend 50$ extra for next day delivery. 0 for a coffee pot marked at 0? No thanks. I was really hoping to find a Cuisinart coffee maker somewhere in a store. Living out in the middle of the country, it's at least a 1 hour drive for that. Oh well, better then a weeks wait. So we went to Best Buy and there were quite a bit. The one I was looking at next to the 12 cup thermal one was there (Cuisinart DCC-1200BW) but it's not a thermal. My husband spotted this one, and liked it. He wanted me to have a thermal one- knowing that I chase after my 2 year old all day and my 6 month old is a constant distraction... it takes a while to get back to my coffee, and I didn't want cooked coffee any more. It has the grinder, which is a ++ because sometimes I like to buy the beans (I switch around).

I did the required preps for it per instructions, and then made my first brew. Only 4 cups because it was 10pm and I breastfeed, I wanted a new fresh pot in the morning. NO problems. The coffee was steaming hot. For the 4 cups, I used 3 scoops with the spoon that came with it (seems smaller then my usual scooper). The coffee was PERFECT. I didn't have spills, I didn't have leaking from the carafe. I don't really see where the problems are coming from that everyone is complaining about.. the lid is very easy to get evenly twisted on the lock position... the last 2 years I've been washing bottles and then sippy cups, so it's not hard to wash the carafe for me. After we drank the coffee, I went in and rinsed off the required appliance pieces. It's not hard. I even hand dried them with a paper towel so I could prep the machine for the morning brew. Seriously, when I purchased this 5 dollar machine I was preparing to keep it cleaned at all times. It's just how it works. If you want something to work well, you have to keep it clean. You keep it clean, it'll work. It's a few minutes out of my day, not bad at all. It's like my camera, I didn't purchase a 1k camera and 1k lens and two other lesser valued lens and expect them to keep performing well without cleaning and maintenance. It's part of the price of having a top performing machine.

My second brew this morning I tried making the 10 cups, no problems with leaks and stuff, it was set up last night and I used 6 scoops from the spoon that came with it... and as some of the others have said, the coffee was a bit bitter and watery. My fault, I didn't expect to get the correct coffee to water ratio on the first real try. The programming worked perfectly, btw. So I drank the coffee anyways. 2 hours later into the morning, and the coffee was still hot enough to burn my lip. 4 hours later, and it was hot enough to make my tongue still numb from the heat. Fantastic!

I then made a 2nd brew, just to get an idea of coffee to water ratio that would work for me. I put away the tiny scoop that comes with the coffee pot and pulled out my larger one again. 3 scoops from that thing with 8 cups water and the brew is STRONG! It could be used with less beans then this, and taste fine, but I like it strong. So if I were to go for 10 cups, I would use the 3-4 scoops from my normal scooper. You just have to mess around with the amount of beans and such. There is no watery taste to this. I also put the 1-4 on even though I brewed 8 cups. I figured, I like stronger coffee, it wouldn't hurt for it to keep the water in the filter basket to make it a bit stronger even with the more cups. Apparently, I did something right.

I'm totally impressed with this coffee pot so far. I'll come back and give an update when I have it longer.
For those complaining about the noise...seriously? It's a GRIND and brew, what did you expect? Grinders are loud, this grinder is quieter then the external grinder I have. I haven't used beans in it yet, but I've turned it on to see how it works. I'll have pumpkin spice coming my way, so I'll know how the grinder works soon. Can't wait!

Product Features
  • Grinds coffee beans and brews coffee at preset time
  • Charcoal filter eliminates chlorine and odors from tap water
  • Brushed stainless steel, double-wall insulated thermal carafe keeps up to 10 5-ounce cups of brewed coffee

Love me two times - Tony C - Bronx, NY United States
I liked this coffee maker so much that when my older version stopped working, I had to buy another one. My first one lasted almost 5 years.

Great Coffeemaker - CoffeeLover -
Overall I have been really happy with this coffeemaker. The best things about it are the grinder and the wire basket it comes with which makes the coffee taste great. It's also compact enough to fit in my apartment kitchen, and saves me from having to have a coffee grinder on the counter too.

The only thing I don't like is the noise of the grinder. It is way louder than my old coffee grinder. It kind of sounds like a cross between a jet and a police siren. I always feel like I'm annoying my neighbors when I turn it on.

All in all though, I would recommend it. Who needs neighbors when you have delicious coffee anyways?

Customer Review
Grinds My Gears - Chris - New York City
I received this machine as a gift, so I'm elated that I didn't have to pay for it. The things that I hate about this machine are pretty much what everyone else here is saying, like epic cleaning procedure, the nasty condensation issue and jarringly loud grinder that could embarrass a 747. Mine has also overflowed (four times) for no reason. Sure, it's nice to look at with all that stainless steel, but there are so many stupid design elements on this thing that could have been avoided had the designer been forced to use it for a year before releasing it to the public.

1. Lesser Cuisinart models have an outside gauge to show the water level. With this model, one must use a flashlight to see inside the incredibly dark reservoir.

2. Pouring in whole beans is a delicate maneuver. If you're not careful, you will drop whole beans inside the water reservoir and in the black hole surrounding the grinder mechanism. Good luck fishing them out - if you can spot them in the darkness. A split cover (one for the water, one for the coffee grinds) would have made more sense here and possibly avoided the condensation issue.

3. This machine will not operate unless all the stupid grinder parts are in place. It would be nice if you could take out the gummy grinder, pulverize it with a hammer, run the pieces over with your car, burn them, and then use the machine with pre-ground beans.

4. Even after holding the grinder under scalding hot water, you'll still need to wipe out the gummy mess with multiple paper towels. The condensation makes putting on a second pot a real hassle. Not good for entertaining.

5. I really wish coffee makers would be honest about cup size already. 10 "cups" only amount to about four 12 ounce cups, because the cup size is only 5 ounces. Who the hell drinks 5 ounce cups of coffee? No one.

6. When I recently bought whole beans by mistake, I was forced to use the grinder. I'm sure I gave my two cats a heart attack when I turned the stupid thing on right after feeding them.

7. I have managed to alleviate the grinder basket popping open by ditching the black cover.

8. Recently, it has developed a strange leak where I have a small puddle of coffee UNDER the machine after brewing. I think the stainless steel carafe itself might be leaking. This machine will be the death of my butcherblock counter top.

I think this model should be recalled and destroyed. Really. Launch them all into the sun so that they can never return.

If you want to impress someone you secretly hate with an expensive looking gift, give them this thing.

Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Stainless 5-1/2-Quart Saute with Helper and Cover

You could pay at least twice this price for an All-Clad Sauté Pan and still have nothing more than the 'name'. But you know, "Cuisinart" is a pretty good name too!
I'm totally satisfied with the performance of this pan! I even used it to cook some bacon in and it done just fine. (didn't stick.) I use it like any skillet... why not!?
I'm getting the whole set next time! Tri-ply 18/10 "Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless Steel 12-Piece Cookware Set"

The only problem I had with this purchase. was the SHIPPING. I chose the "FREE with Super Saver Shipping", and expected to wait a 'LITTLE' longer than other shipping methods.... not THIS much longer!
I purchased the pan on 04-09-10...... On 04-30-10, I was notified by email that it had shipped! THREE WEEKS to even begin the shipping process!!! I received it a few days later. I don't think it takes a month to get to Mars!
It was almost as if they waited on purpose, to avoid a future "free shipping" choice from me!
I know it doesn't take 3 weeks to put a box in the "out bin"! |:-/

Customer Review
Worked great until it warped - Fake Name -
This unit worked wonderfully and looked great (yes I do buy items because of aesthetic value). However, after we used it for about a month, the bottom of the pan warped. It used to sit flat on my glass top stove, but now wobbles and has a hot spot. We've avoided all of the things that can warp a pan, and it still happened. Time to see how good the warranty service is I guess.

great for parties - anna9999 - ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA, US
used this item once to make seafood pasta for 10 ppl. excellent for cooking and serving the pasta in. cooks evenly and holds heat well. only downside is the lid. keep burning my wrist everytime i went to flip it open. otherwise, great product.

Customer Review
Good, but not amazing - Robert Garton - Los Angeles, CA USA
In my mind, Multiclad is supposed to give uniform heat over the bottom surface of the pan. My test for this is to put chunks of stew meat all over the bottom, and see if they get uniformly brown all at the same time. The uniformity is certainly better than a single layer stainless pan, but I think my cast-iron skillet might be a bit better. It's not bad, but not worth 5 stars. I do love the big size, so that you can spread out morsels of meat or mushrooms and get wonderful browning. It's much nicer looking than my old farberware.

Cuisinart CPT-120 Compact Cool-Touch 2-Slice Toaster, White

I love this toaster! It runs a little hot, I toast everything at 2 or 2.5. I love the bagel feature, it only toasts the inside of the bagel. Another benefit of this toast, is because it is an electronic toaster, I no longer trip the circuit breaker when I am toasting and running the coffee maker at the same time.

Product Features
  • Compact 2-slice toaster with LED indicator lights and 9 browning levels
  • Touchpad controls offer cancel, reheat, defrost, and bagel settings
  • 1-1/2-inch-wide slots automatically adjust to accommodate bagels and muffins
  • High-rise carriage; slide-out crumb tray; convenient cord wrap; instruction book included
  • Measures approximately 10 by 5 by 6-1/2 inches; 3-year limited warranty

Good product - Yy -
It is good and convenient to use. If u cut the bagle in half, it can also reheat bagles!

Customer Review
Fine while lasted - Robert Houle - South Orange, NJ
So the toaster was fine while it lasted, although the bagel setting wasn't really all that useful as it seemed to overcook the bagels, but a couple days ago the outside elements simply stopped heating and shortly after the lever refused to stay down. This with less than two years of use!

I see from the reviews here that this is a common fate for this toaster and while I could have it fixed, the cost of mailing it back and providing return postage make such a prospect somewhat foolish. Sigh...

2 slice toaster Cuisinart CPT - 120 - Betty O'Leary - Iowa City, Iowa United States
Perfect toast every time - no black burned slices as it is very easy to program. Crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside!
Buy one - you'll like it!!!!!

Customer Review
Great toaster, very long lasting! - Dr. W. Jewell - Davis, CA United States
We've had this toaster since 2005 and it's been excellent at making toast and doing bagels; it has very even heating. Now, 5 years later, it is just starting to go, eg, we need to turn up the dial to get the same level of browning so I am ordering a new one. 5yrs of life for a toaster can't be beat.......

Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless 3-3/4-Quart Saucepan with Lid

#Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless 3-3/4-Quart Saucepan with Lid# Best Cheap Discount Sales Reviews

Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless 3-3/4-Quart Saucepan with Lid

We own a set of Cuisinart's "Everyday" series of stainless steel cookware, which we bought based upon ratings by Consumer Reports. We have liked that set overall, and decided to try a piece from their "multiply" line.

After having used it for awhile, I see pros and cons between the "multiply" and "everyday" lines.

I prefer the comfort and feel of the more rounded "everyday" handles to the much flatter handle of the "multiply" line. However, the use of rivets in the "multiply" handles (to attach the handle to the pot) should be stronger than the spot welds on the "everyday" line. But the rivets make cleanup of sticky food around the rivet head inside the pot an extra nuisance.

I prefer the smoother bottom of the "multiply," and like the way it cooks slightly better than the "everyday" line. But the "multiply" pots are distinctly heavier than that of the "everyday" line, which can take a toll on your wrist, if you do as much cooking as we do. That might be a concern for an older person. Of course, we're talking about a 3 3/4 quart pot, which is a fairly good size pot.

But then, I never use anything smaller than 2 quart. In fact, I use 2 3/4 - 3 quart size pots for 70% of my cooking where a sauce pan is required.

Overall, I like it, and I'm sure that it will get alot of use.

We also own both Revere and Farberware cookware, and while I don't think that they are quite as good overall as the Cuisinart "Everyday" line, they can be purchased quite inexpensively. I keep my copper-bottomed sauce pans only for use in steaming vegetables or cooking soups, but still use the aluminum-bottomed stainless steel sauce pans for all other tasks, because they seem to heat more uniformly than the copper-bottomed ones, and are nearly as good as the Cuisinart "everyday" pans.

Note: I've had a spot-welded handle break off on a Revere sauce pan, but that is a potential problem for any sauce pan with a spot-welded handle.

Product Features

  • 18/10 brushed stainless steel body with polished band; heat surround technology for even heat distribution
  • Professional triple ply construction: 18/10 brushed stainless, aluminum core, 18/10 brushed stainless
  • Long, oven safe handles
  • Tight fitting cover, tapered rim
  • Dishwasher safe

Product Overview
Designed for serious cooks, Cuisinart's MultiClad stainless pots and pans heat quickly and uniformly thanks to an aluminum core bonded between layers of 18/10 stainless steel. The core runs across the bottoms and all the way up the sides of the cookware to disperse heat evenly throughout food. The nonreactive interior layer is highly polished so it's naturally stick-resistant as well as resistant to discoloration and corrosion. A polished band just below each pan's rim handsomely accents the brushed exterior. In addition, a deep-set, tight-fitting, polished lid; a tapered rim for drip-free pouring; and a polished handle riveted for strength make this classic, straight-sided, 3-3/4-quart saucepan ideal for myriad cooking tasks. The pan is oven-safe to 500 degrees F, and though it's dishwasher-safe, hand washing is recommended to maintain the pan's beauty throughout its lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Customer Review
Great pan, great looks, great fit, great price - Mark W. Lee - UT United States
Like many others I researched and comparison shopped. I went to All Clad first because of reputation and I could afford it. But did I really want to pay that much? Looks, fit, feel, heft, these are all quite subjective depending on one's taste, pocketbook, strength, and size. Unlike other comments, I prefer the handle shape of Cuisinart's Multiply line over All Clad. All Clad's scooped handle is tippy in my smaller hand and the upturned edges press uncomfortably into my palm. The Cuisinart's fit better, feel better, and are more stable in my hand. Mirror finish inside and satin outside, or the other way around (All Clad), again a personal taste issue. The Multiply's satin finish offset by the mirror finish is more distinctive to my eyes. When I looked at them side by side, I preferred the rivets on the Cuisinart's than the All Clad, they looked beefier but are they as strong? My biggest question was, are the Cuisinart's going to last like All Clad and unfortunately no one knows. All of these pots cook great if used properly so it came down to cost, comfort, and looks and for me, that meant Cuisinart. I have gotten so many more pots and pans for the money and if they last half as long, they're half as expensive so if I have to buy them again, I figure I'm still even! Besides, half of the fun is in the shopping, once you have them, enjoy your choice and don't look back.

Customer Review
Another in a great line. - -
Cooks as well as All-Clad, is better-looking, cleans like a dream, and costs less. Is slightly lighter, which I regard as a plus. Price is a consideration for me, but even if it weren't, this is still the brand I'd buy. (BTW, you can grip anything with a silicone hotpad.)

Customer Review
A Great Pan with a Lousy Handle for a Great Price - John L. Keiser - New York, NY USA
The Cuisinart Multiclad line (of which I have 2) have excellent cooking qualities, and are the equal of the All-Clad lines (I have several) in that regard. But the handles stink: they are uncomfortable to hold (when lifting the pot), and it is hard to get a secure grip on them, which makes pouring (or transporting) hot liquids a riskier business than it should be. And they can't hold a candle to the All-Clad SS line in the looks dept. If they were priced the same as the All-Clad, they would be a non-starter. HOWEVER, at 1/2 to 1/3 the price of the All-Clad they are a great buy which can't easily be matched, and if you can cope with the handles you'll be very happy.

Customer Review
MULTICLAD COMPETES WITH THE MORE EXPENSIVE LINES - -
HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED MANY PIECES OF THE MULTICLAD LINE. I GAVE MY HUSBAND SEVERAL PIECES OF THE MORE EXPENSIVE ALL-CLAD FOR XMAS & RECENTLY NEEDED AN 8QT STOCKPOT FOR A DINNER PARTY -- OUR CHOICE WAS An [expensive], name brand POT OR TRY THE CUISINART MULTI-CLAD FOR [much, much] less. WE PURCHASED THE MULTICLAD & THOUGHT IT PERFORMED AS WELL AS THE MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE VERSION.
THEY ARE EASY TO CLEAN & MAINTAIN -- BAR KEEPERS FRIEND KEEPS STAINLESS LOOKING LIKE NEW.
THE BIGGEST CONSIDERATION WHEN PURCHASING ANY OF THIS STAINLESS COOKWARE IS STORAGE -- IT CAN SCRATCH SO PILING IT UP IN A CUPBOARD NOT A GREAT IDEA.
THIS IS QUALITY COOKWARE BUT AT A FRACTION OF THE PRICE OF THE ALL-CLAD.
